Billy Mallari is wedding photographer based in Milton, Ontario, Canada. Billy is a graduate of the Digital Media Arts program at Seneca College in Toronto where he was first introduced to photography. Billy’s background and experience as a graphic designer for six years helped him develop his interest in capturing images. He started to work as a freelance wedding videographer but later pursued his interest in photography extensively by taking commercial photography courses at Sheridan College. He continues to learn new techniques and develops his style in order to deliver fresh and creative photos.

Last weekend’s bridal show was a success. We spoke to lots of brides and grooms who were really impressed with our work. Lots of hard work was placed in designing the booth but it was a great show and we had a lot of fun along the way. Thanks to all my family and friends who came and supported me at the show specially with Steve of www.naughtynice.ca who was a huge help in marketing my services. To all the brides and grooms we met at the show, we would love to hear from you again!

I went to the fabric store today to purchase some vinyl fabrics to be used as a backdrop for my portable studio. I tried some test shots with my son and very patient dog that just happen to wake up. I’m pretty impressed with the results and it’s definitely a great alternative for seamless paper.

It was a great privilege to photograph Amy and Ben’s wedding at the Old Mill Inn-Toronto. I have been at this place several times but this was the first time I photograph a wedding at their very dark chapel. It was a good thing that my friend Anita who I went to school with and is also a great photographer tagged along and was there to help me out. She is an extreme talent and her photographs just blow me away. Here are a few of our images that day.

Here’s a preview of Asha and Rahul’s engagement session which was done in Bellfountain, Ontario. The weather wasn’t too cooperative but Im glad the shots turned out great.
Last October 10th I had the opportunity to photograph Erin and Peter’s wedding in Mississauga, Ontario. We started off at her house in Milton before heading straight to Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga where the beautiful ceremony took place. The photo session was in Kariya Park while the reception took place at the Banquet Royale in Mississauga.

It’s been a while since I’ve second shot at a wedding. Last June, James Lee of Gossamer Canvas assisted me by being the second photographer at Jean and Jerry’s wedding in Niagara (Chateau De Charmes) . This time, I had the opportunity to help him shoot his client’s wedding- Camilla and Mohammed at the Old Mill Inn.
